~OH The DMV Is Helpful & Painless!

It came to my attention from my pregnant friend that if you are pregnant you can receive a handicap temporary place card for the end of your pregnancy. I thought it was the best idea I had ever heard but one I wasn’t sure would work for everyone. She did have some medical limitations in her pregnancy, however, after reading online at a few places it really does exist! So I went into my doctors office for an appointment and asked them if they had the paper work to fill out. THEY DID! Now granted I am pregnant with Twinsies and “preterm labor” is real, it really was so easy to get. The doctor fills out one side of the paperwork and you fill the other side out. You take it to your DMV (I know this is true in California) and pay $6. This entitles you to 6 months of handicap privileges. After the 6 months you would need to renew and of course get your doctors approval. This can be done up to 5 times! It doesn’t hurt to ask if you can get one! I walked out the same day with mine and I can tell ya, It has really helped with grocery shopping, doctors appointments, and just about anywhere.
